To My Sisters

When a man is truly a man he takes initiative. He knows he has enough friends and he doesn't want you simply as another friend.

He makes you feel so secure. You know that he won't abandon you. He's as determined to make you his as much as you want him to be yours. He's not thinking of anyone else. He cares about your feelings even more than you do. He's not afraid to commit. He doesn't just give up. He knows you're worth all the trouble. He believes he loves you more than anyone else can - and he does what he says.

You both feel comfortable enough to show how you truly are when you're most vulnerable, those times when you're unwound and all over the place. He loves the parts of you that even you hate.

Then you know that he is worthy of you.

(And until then, he's not a man.)
